Transportation

The bicycle is a fairly good method of transportation in Old Oakville. It is also convenient for pedestrians to get around in this area; many daily needs are easy to carry out without the use of a car, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. This part of Oakville is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, Old Oakville is very car friendly. Nearby highways are easy to reach from any location in this area, and it is convenient to find a parking spot.
