Monkland is a community within North Stormont, Ontario, which is located in United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

Transportation

Driving is a great medium of transportation in this part of the township. It is very convenient to access a parking spot. Monkland is not very bicycling-friendly since there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave, and there are very few bike lanes. It is also very difficult for pedestrians to navigate this area since almost no common errands can be run without the use of a car.

Monkland does not have any high schools or primary schools. With respect to food, doing one's groceries very often demands the use of a vehicle in this part of North Stormont. However, it is convenient to reach the closest coffee shop on foot, and there are a few restaurants in Monkland.
