Located within the St. Catharines - Niagara metropolitan area, Old Town is a neighbourhood within Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.

Transportation

Old Town is a fairly good part of Niagara-on-the-Lake for getting around by car. It is especially convenient to park. Old Town will draw physically active house buyers because it is reasonably suited for cycling. More precisely, bike riders do not encounter significant elevation changes. Travelling on foot is not very convenient for residents in this part of Niagara-on-the-Lake because running common errands is impractical by walking.

Services

There are only a few high schools and primary schools in Old Town and accordingly they can be a long walk away. Moreover, it can be very difficult to access daycares as a pedestrian. As far as eating is concerned, shopping for one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a vehicle in Old Town. Nevertheless, getting to the closest pharmacy and accordingly some staple foods is generally easy. A limited number of restaurants are available in Old Town as well.
