Transportation

Travelling by car is very easy in this area. It is straightforward to access a place to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 407, are very easy to reach from anywhere in this part of Markham. On the other hand, the public transit service in Sherwood-Amberglen is rather limited. Thankfully, it is convenient to come across a nearby rapid transit station, including Hwy 7 / Wootten with access to the Viva Purple, from the bulk of properties in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. It is convenient to commute by bike in this part of the city. Travelling on foot is not particularly practical for residents in this part of Markham as few common errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle.
