Transportation

Buttonville is especially car friendly. Most real estate listings are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 407, and coming across a place to park is generally easy. However, public transit riders may have limited choices in Buttonville by reason of the infrequent service. Nevertheless, rapid transit stations, such as Hwy 7 / Montgomery, Hwy 7 / Allstate and Hwy 7 / Woodbine with access to the Viva Purple, are ordinarily relatively close by from most residences in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is usually just around the corner. Walking in Buttonville is not very popular, even though many daily errands can be run without the use of a car. In contrast, Buttonville is reasonably suited for bicycling.
