Lincoln

The neighbourhood of Lincoln is part of the city of Waterloo, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Lincoln is very car friendly. Most houses for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 85, and it is especially convenient to park. In contrast, getting around by public transit is at times difficult in Lincoln. Nonetheless, there is Conestoga Station with access to the ION Light Rail. The neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. There aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of Lincoln, even though running common errands is easy. In contrast, travelling by bicycle is convenient in this neighbourhood since there are a limited number of slopes for cyclists to brave.

Services

Families will find that wherever their house is situated in this area, daycares and primary schools are close by. On the other hand, there are no high schools in Lincoln. Families have the choice between public and private primary schools. Regarding food, the closest supermarket in Lincoln is usually only a rather short walk away. There are also approximately 20 restaurants and cafes in this neighbourhood.

Character

Lincoln offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. There are approximately 10 public green spaces nearby for residents to visit, including Bechtel Park Facility and Anndale Park, and they are very well-located, making it easy to reach them. The noise levels in this area are also very low, as the streets tend to be especially peaceful.
