Part of the Greater Kingston metropolitan area, Strathcona Park is a neighbourhood within Kingston, Ontario.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is very car friendly. It is very easy to come across a place to park, and it is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from any location in this part of the city. In contrast, the public transit network in Strathcona Park is not very practical. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is usually very close. Walking in Strathcona Park is not very popular, even though many daily needs can be carried out without the use of a car. However, this neighbourhood is reasonably suited for cycling since.

Parents and their kids will find that no matter where their house is situated in Strathcona Park, primary schools are nearby.
