The former municipality of Old Hamilton is part of the city of Hamilton, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

This former municipality will attract homeowners that value various methods of transportation. The fairly good public transit infrastructure allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car. In particular, there is the West Harbour and Hamilton Go Centre on the Lakeshore West. The former municipality is linked by around 40 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close.
