Transportation

The car is usually the preferred approach to get around in this part of Hamilton. On the other hand, the public transit system in this part of Hamilton is sometimes poor. Nevertheless, residents have access to a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically just around the corner. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of Kernighan, even though many day-to-day needs can be carried out by walking. The bike is a somewhat poor means of transportation in this part of Hamilton because the cycling network is rather limited.
