The neighbourhood of Hornby can be found in the town of Halton Hills, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred method to get around in this neighbourhood is usually driving. The majority of the street infrastructure is built for cars, and it is very easy to park. However, getting around by transit can be difficult in Hornby due to the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Although riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain, and biking is more feasible in certain pockets than others, the bicycle is a mode of transportation in Hornby because the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive. Travelling by foot in Hornby is not very popular, even though running common errands is convenient.

Services

There are only a few primary schools in this part of the town and consequently they can be a long walk away. Moreover, this area does not contain any high schools.
