River Oaks is a neighbourhood within Oakville, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

River Oaks is quite bicycling-friendly since the cycling network is reasonably good. This area is also a fairly pleasant part of Oakville for pedestrians; many day-to-day needs are convenient to carry out by walking. River Oaks is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by around 10 bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. However, getting around by car is easy in River Oaks. It is convenient to access a parking spot.

Services

In River Oaks, parents and their kids will typically be able to get to daycares and schools by walking. Apart from public schools, there are private primary and secondary schools. When it comes to food, some, but not all, house buyers in this part of the town will reside within walking distance of the closest grocery store.
