Located within the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Port Credit is a neighbourhood within Mississauga, Ontario.

Transportation

No matter the mode of transportation, it is quite straightforward to travel in this part of the city. Owing to Port Credit on the Lakeshore West, and a few nearby bus lines, the public transit system in this area is reasonably practical. It is also easy for people walking to navigate Port Credit; many day-to-day errands can be run on foot, and various businesses are nearby. Travelling by bicycle is easy in Port Credit because there are a limited number of hills.

Services

Schools and daycares are easy to walk to from most homes for sale in Port Credit. At the primary level, there are both public and private schools. With respect to food, it is very easy to access the closest supermarket on foot from anywhere in Port Credit. In addition, there are a fair number of options for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes.

Character

Port Credit is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm environment. This area is reasonably quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - however noise can be problematic around the railway line. Finally, it is very easy to access parks from most locations within the neighbourhood since there are approximately 20 of them nearby for residents to visit.
