Located within the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area, West End is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Transportation

West End will draw active home buyers because it is conducive to those who travel by foot; carrying out daily needs is easy. On the other hand, West End is not especially amenable to biking since the cycling network is not very extensive, and the area is not very flat. Cars are a reasonably good transportation option in this part of Thunder Bay. The majority of houses for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, and it is convenient to come across a parking spot. However, West End is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop.
