Transportation

McCrea Heights is an extraordinarily good part of Greater Sudbury for moving around by car. Parking is easy. However, McCrea Heights is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the community is served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually just around the corner. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are not very suitable for those who travel by foot since very few day-to-day errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. This community is also not very conducive to cycling because the topography is not particularly flat, and the bicycling network is not very comprehensive.

Services

McCrea Heights does not have any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, daycares are not plentiful and accordingly not always within walking distance. With respect to eating, shopping for one's groceries very often demands the use of a car in McCrea Heights.
