Blezard Valley

The community of Blezard Valley is part of the city of Greater Sudbury, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Sudbury metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is very often the preferred approach to navigate Blezard Valley. It is very easy to park. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be challenging in Blezard Valley as a result of the low service level. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the community, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. It is at times difficult to move around by bicycle in Blezard Valley because the cycling network is quite poor. Nonetheless, the terrain is flat. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are also not very conducive to those who travel by foot as running common errands is challenging by walking.

Services

Blezard Valley does not contain any high schools or primary schools. In terms of food, it is straightforward to access the closest grocery store by walking in this area. A small number of restaurants can be found in Blezard Valley as well.

Character

Blezard Valley is a very good community to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm ambience. There are a few parks nearby for residents to discover, which makes them easy to reach. This community is also very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Housing

Around 85% of the dwellings in the community are occupied by homeowners and 15% are rented. Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in this part of the city. Around 30% of properties in this community were built between 1960 and 1980, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1990s. This area is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
