Transportation

Driving is usually the best approach to get around in Grimsby Beach. It is a very short drive to the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, from any home in this area, and it is very convenient to access a place to park. It is challenging to commute by bike in this part of Grimsby since riding a bicycle is made difficult by the typically steep topography, and there are few bike lanes. Walking is also not very feasible for house buyers in Grimsby Beach because most daily needs are impractical to carry out without the use of a vehicle.

Home buyers in Grimsby Beach almost always have to use a car to do grocery shopping. There are a few restaurants in this part of Grimsby. As far as education is concerned, it is a reasonably short walk to get to daycares and primary schools from most houses for sale in this part of the town. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood.

Character

Grimsby Beach is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm environment. Most areas in Grimsby Beach are very quiet, as the streets are usually very tranquil around Queen Elizabeth Way. Public green spaces aren't well-distributed, which results in them being very difficult to get to from a large number of locations in this neighbourhood.

Housing

The substantial percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of Grimsby Beach is an important part of its character. About 30% of properties in this area were built between 1980 and 1990, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1960s. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Nearly 95% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while renters make up the remainder.
