The neighbourhood of Southwood is part of the city of Cambridge, Ontario, which is situated in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Southwood is a fairly good part of Cambridge for travelling by car. Finding a place to park is generally easy. In contrast, travelling by public transit is challenging in Southwood. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are typically nearby. This part of Cambridge is not particularly conducive to bicycling as cyclists are faced with quite a few hills, and the cycling network is somewhat poor. Southwood is also not especially well-suited for those who travel by foot because few common errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle.

Services

A supermarket is ordinarily reachable within a rather short walk from anywhere in this part of the city. In addition, a coffee shop is often just around the corner, and there are also a few restaurants in this area.
