Part of the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area, Briardean is a neighbourhood within Cambridge, Ontario.

Transportation

Commuting by car is very easy in this area. The majority of houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, and parking is generally easy. However, public transit riders may experience very few options in Briardean due to the infrequent service. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most houses are close to a bus stop. Briardean is not very conducive to walking since very few common errands can be run on foot. In contrast, this part of Cambridge is quite amenable to cycling.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed in this part of the city to reach the nearest supermarket. Concerning education, Briardean does not have any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, families may consider it difficult for their children to get to daycares on foot.

Character

Briardean is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. Briardean is very quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.
