Transportation

Hickory Woods offers homeowners several alternative methods of transportation. Commuting by public transit is easy in this part of the city as a consequence of about 10 nearby bus lines. Hickory Woods is also quite suitable for walking; carrying out day-to-day needs is easy. This area is amenable to bicycling.

Services

Getting to the closest supermarket by walking is possible for some, but not all, home buyers in Hickory Woods. Residents benefit from a few restaurants and coffee shops as well. Concerning education, daycares and primary schools are very easy to get to on foot from any location in Hickory Woods. However, there are no high schools in this area.

Character

People who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Hickory Woods. This area is quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case near Highway 407.
