Located within the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Avondale is a neighbourhood within Brampton, Ontario.

Transportation

Avondale enables house buyers to move around by several methods of transportation. With around 10 nearby bus lines, the fairly good public transit infrastructure makes transit a viable option for many. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also reasonably conducive to walking; many day-to-day errands can be run on foot. This neighbourhood is reasonably amenable to bicycling because there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

A portion of home buyers in this part of Brampton may have the option to shop for their groceries on foot, while others will have to rely on a vehicle. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who appreciate close by restaurants. Concerning education, in Avondale, parents and their kids will generally be able to access schools and daycares on foot.

Character

The character of Avondale is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. Public green spaces, including Clark Park and Crawley Park, are very well-spread out and there are approximately 10 of them nearby for residents to visit, resulting in them being very easy to access from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood. This area is also quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.
