Deer Creek

Deer Creek is a neighbourhood within Ajax, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Deer Creek is a very convenient part of Ajax for driving. Parking is easy. In contrast, the public transit system in this area is quite bad. Nonetheless, residents are served by a few bus lines. The bicycle is a somewhat poor means of transportation in Deer Creek because there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed. A majority of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also not very conducive to walking because meeting daily needs is impractical on foot.

Services

Daycares are easy to access on foot from most houses for sale in Deer Creek. However, parents and their children may find it very difficult to reach primary schools and high schools as pedestrians. In terms of food, a supermarket is ordinarily accessible within a very long walk from any location in this area. A limited number of restaurants can be found in this area as well.

Character

The character of Deer Creek is exemplified by its relaxed environment. Deer Creek is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Parks aren't well-distributed, which results in them being very hard to get to from many locations in the neighbourhood.

Housing

Nearly all of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while the remainder are rented. The housing stock of this part of the town is composed primarily of single detached homes and townhouses. Around one third of properties in this neighbourhood were constructed between 1990 and 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s. Although this neighbourhood is especially good for those looking for four or more bedroom homes.
