West Porters Lake

The community of West Porters Lake is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in West Porters Lake. Accessing a parking spot is quite easy. Walking is not very feasible for home buyers in this part of Halifax because almost no daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. West Porters Lake is also not very appropriate for biking as the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and there are a good number of elevation changes.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in West Porters Lake. In terms of eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to do groceries.

The character of West Porters Lake is exemplified by its relaxed environment. West Porters Lake is very quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.
