Situated within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Wallace Heights is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is an extremely good part of Halifax for driving. It is a very short drive to the closest highway from any location in this area, and it is very convenient to park. On the other hand, public transit riders may experience limited choices in this part of Halifax by reason of the low service level. Nonetheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. It is at times challenging to get around by bicycle in Wallace Heights as there is a significant amount of slopes, and the bicycling infrastructure is rather limited. Walking is also not very practical for property owners in this part of the municipality because few daily errands can be run on foot.

Services

Parents and their kids will appreciate that wherever their house is situated in this part of Halifax, primary schools are close by. However, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood. In terms of food, house buyers in Wallace Heights generally have to use a car to travel to the closest supermarket.

Character

Wallace Heights offers a reasonably good selection of green spaces to enjoy. Although the neighbourhood is not home to any parks, green spaces are especially well-located in nearby neighbourhoods, which makes them easy to get to.
