Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Tufts Cove is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in this area. Most properties for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is very easy to park. However, the public transit network in Tufts Cove is sometimes poor. Thankfully, residents have access to a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close. Cycling is at times challenging in this neighbourhood because riding is made difficult by the often sloping terrain, and there are few bike lanes. There are also relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of Tufts Cove, although running daily errands is easy on foot.

Services

Some, but not all, house buyers in Tufts Cove will live within walking distance of the nearest supermarket. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who care about close by restaurants. With regards to education, in Tufts Cove, parents and their children will typically be able to get to both primary and secondary schools on foot.
