The neighbourhood of Shape 24 is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great mode of transportation in Shape 24. Most properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and it is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in Shape 24 is quite poor. Shape 24 is not very suited for cycling as there are few bike lanes, and there is a considerable amount of elevation changes. It is also occasionally challenging for pedestrians to navigate Shape 24 because carrying out daily needs is sometimes difficult on foot.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a car is required in this area to access the closest supermarket. Nevertheless, pharmacies are generally very easy to get to on foot and sell some basic food items. Regarding education, parents and their schoolchildren will welcome that no matter where their house is located in Shape 24, daycares are close by.
