Transportation

The car is very often the best way to get around in Portuguese Cove. It is very convenient to park. Many of the homes for sale in this community are located in places that are not very well-suited for walking because almost no common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. Moving around by bicycle is also at times difficult in Portuguese Cove as riding is rendered strenuous by the often hilly terrain, and the cycling network is not very well-developed.
