The community of Mushaboom is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Mushaboom is especially car friendly. Parking is quite easy. A majority of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are not very suitable for walking as almost no daily errands can be run without having to resort to a car. Biking is also very hard in Mushaboom because the bicycling infrastructure is quite poor, and bicycling is made strenuous by the often hilly terrain.

Services

Mushaboom does not contain any high schools or primary schools. With respect to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to buy groceries.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a relaxed ambience will enjoy Mushaboom. Mushaboom is especially quiet overall, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Parks aren't well-situated, making them very hard to reach.
