Mount Royal is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Moving around by car is very easy in this neighbourhood. It is a short car ride to the nearest highway from anywhere in Mount Royal, and it is convenient to find a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit system in this part of Halifax is fairly poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. Walking in Mount Royal is not very popular, although many day-to-day needs can be met without the use of a vehicle. However, cycling is easy in this part of the municipality as there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

A fraction of house buyers in this area may be able to purchase groceries by walking, while others will have to turn to a vehicle. Residents of this neighbourhood benefit from a few restaurants. Concerning education, in this area, parents and their kids will generally be able to access daycares and primary schools on foot. However, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools.
