The community of Lantz is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured approach to get around in this part of Halifax is very often a car. It is very convenient to access a parking spot. A majority of the homes for sale in this community are located in places that are not very well-suited for walking because running daily errands is challenging. The bicycle is a rather poor method of transportation in Lantz because the cycling network is quite bad, and riding is rendered strenuous by the typically hilly terrain.
