The community of Lake Charlotte can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This community is an extremely good part of Halifax for getting around by car. It is especially convenient to come across a place to park. Most houses for sale in this part of the municipality are located in areas that are not very suitable for walking as many daily needs are very impractical to carry out on foot. Commuting by bicycle is also difficult in this community because the topography is not especially flat, and the cycling network is not very comprehensive.

Services

Lake Charlotte does not contain any high schools or primary schools. With regards to eating, property owners in this part of the municipality almost always have to turn to a vehicle to access the nearest grocery store.

Character

People who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere will enjoy Lake Charlotte. The noise levels in Lake Charlotte are low, as the streets are usually quite tranquil. Green spaces aren't well-distributed, making them rather difficult to access from a lot of locations within this community. Despite that, there are a few parks nearby for residents to discover.

Housing

About one third of homes in Lake Charlotte were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
