The community of Jacket Lake is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent mode of transportation in this community. It is very easy to park. A majority of the homes for sale in this community are located in places that are not very suitable for walking since almost no daily needs can be carried out on foot. The bike is a fairly poor mode of transportation in this community as there are a good number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists, and the cycling network is quite bad.

Services

This part of the municipality does not have any high schools or primary schools. Concerning food, it is very rarely possible for home buyers in this community to reach the nearest supermarket on foot.

Character

Jacket Lake is a great community to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. Jacket Lake is especially quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Public green spaces aren't well-situated, which makes it very difficult to reach them.
