The community of Hammonds Plains is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in Hammonds Plains. Parking is generally easy. The bike is a rather limited means of transportation in this part of Halifax as the cycling network is not very comprehensive, and the terrain is not very flat.
