The community of Glen Haven is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred approach to navigate this community is usually a car. Accessing a place to park is generally easy. It is very challenging for people walking to navigate Glen Haven because almost no common errands can be run without having to use a vehicle. This community is also not very appropriate for biking since bicycling is made difficult by the often steep terrain, and the cycling infrastructure is quite bad.
