The community of Debaies Cove is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area is very car friendly. It is very easy to access a place to park. Debaies Cove is not very bicycling-friendly as there are a fair number of slopes to challenge cyclists, and the cycling infrastructure is quite poor. It is also very difficult for pedestrians to navigate this community since almost no daily needs can be carried out without the use of a vehicle.

Debaies Cove does not have any high schools or primary schools. Regarding eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to do groceries.
