Brookvale

The community of Brookvale is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great mode of transportation in Brookvale. Finding a parking spot is generally easy. Brookvale is not very bike-friendly as the bicycling infrastructure is quite poor, and there are a good number of hills. It is also very inconvenient for pedestrians to navigate this area as most daily needs are very impractical to carry out without the use of a car.

Services

There are only a very small number of high schools in this area and therefore they can be a very long walk away. Additionally, Brookvale does not have any primary schools. As far as food is concerned, it is very rarely practical for home buyers in this area to travel to the nearest supermarket by walking.

Character

The character of Brookvale is exemplified by its calm atmosphere. Brookvale is very quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Parks aren't well-located, which makes it very hard to get to them.
