Beaver Dam

The community of Beaver Dam is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great mode of transportation in Beaver Dam. Parking is easy. This part of the municipality is not very suited for cycling as there are a fair number of slopes, and the bicycling network is not very extensive. It is also very difficult for pedestrians to move around in Beaver Dam as almost no day-to-day errands can be run on foot.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to do groceries. As far as education is concerned, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Beaver Dam.
