The community of Beaver Bank can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the municipality is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit system in this part of the municipality is not very practical. Nevertheless, the community is linked by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually just around the corner. Beaver Bank is not very bike-friendly because the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and there is a significant amount of slopes. It is also difficult for pedestrians to get around in this community since carrying out daily needs is inconvenient on foot.

Services

Buying one's groceries very often demands the use of a vehicle in this part of the municipality. Nonetheless, pharmacies are generally very easy to reach on foot and sell some staple foods. Concerning education, it is a rather short walk to access daycares from anywhere in Beaver Bank.
