Part of the Greater Truro metropolitan area, Birch Hill is a neighbourhood within Colchester Subdivision C, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

The car is usually the favoured way to move around in this neighbourhood. It is especially convenient to park. Birch Hill is not very cycling-friendly because the bicycling network is quite poor, and there are a good number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists. Many of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are also not very convenient for those who travel by foot because almost no day-to-day needs can be met without the use of a vehicle.
