The community of Sambro is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in Sambro. It is especially convenient to park. Sambro is not very conducive to those who travel by foot because most daily needs are very impractical to carry out without needing to use a vehicle. This community is also not especially appropriate for cycling as there are very few bike lanes, and there is a considerable amount of slopes.

Services

Primary schools are straightforward to walk to from most properties for sale in Sambro. However, there are no high schools in this part of the municipality. In terms of eating, in all cases, a car is required to purchase groceries. There are a few restaurants in this part of Halifax.

Character

The character of Sambro is exemplified by its relaxed ambience. Most areas in this part of the municipality are very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, parks, including Harrietsfield Sambro Volunteer Fire Station Lands, are very well-spread out and there are a few of them close by for residents to visit, which results in them being easy to reach from the majority of locations within this community.
