Alton is a neighbourhood within Colchester Subdivision C, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Truro metropolitan area.

Transportation

Travelling by car is very easy in Alton. Parking is quite easy. Moving around by bicycle is very difficult in Alton since the cycling network is not very well-developed, and the topography is not especially flat. This area is also not very suitable for walking as almost no common errands can be run without the use of a car.

A vehicle is almost always needed in this neighbourhood to access the closest supermarket. With regards to education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Alton.

Character
