Transportation

Getting around by car is easy in Sydney. It is very easy to park, and it is a rather short drive to the closest highway from any location in Sydney. Walking is not especially practical for house buyers in this area because running common errands is occasionally challenging by walking. Commuting by bicycle is also at times difficult in Sydney as there is a considerable amount of hills, and there are few bike lanes.

Services

Parents and their children will find that no matter where their home is situated in Sydney, daycares and schools are close by. When it comes to food, the nearest supermarket in this part of the municipality is generally only a reasonably short walk away. A limited variety of restaurants and cafes is available as well.

Character

People who prefer a calm atmosphere will enjoy Sydney. The noise levels in this area are very low, as the streets tend to be especially tranquil. Finally, there are over 50 public green spaces close by for residents to discover, such as Rotary Park and Baille A'rd, and they are very well-spread out, making it easy to access them.

Housing

The homes in this part of Cape Breton Municipality are quite old, since around half of its dwellings were built before the 1960s, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s. In this former city, the majority of buildings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. The proportions of homeowners and renters are about even. This former city also has a good variety of unit sizes - it is quite easy to find properties ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
