The community of South Head is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

South Head is especially car friendly. Accessing a place to park is easy. The bicycle is a quite poor mode of transportation in this area as the topography is not especially flat, and South Head is home to a quite bad cycling infrastructure.
