Part of the Cape Breton metropolitan area, Marion Bridge is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

The favoured approach to move around in Marion Bridge is very often driving. It is especially convenient to park. A majority of the homes for sale in this community are located in places that are not very conducive to those who travel by foot as running daily errands is almost impossible. Getting around by bicycle is also challenging in Marion Bridge as the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there are a fair number of slopes.

Services

There are only a very small number of primary schools in Marion Bridge and therefore they can be a very long walk away. Moreover, this community does not contain any high schools. Additionally, families may consider it very hard for their kids to get to daycares on foot. As far as eating is concerned, some, but not all, property owners in this part of the municipality will reside within walking distance of the closest supermarket.

Character

The character of Marion Bridge is exemplified by its relaxed environment. There are a few green spaces close by for residents to visit, which makes them very easy to reach. Most areas in this part of the municipality are very quiet, as the streets are usually especially tranquil.

Housing

Roughly 90% of the population of this community own their home and renters make up the remainder. The housing stock of this area is composed primarily of single detached homes and row houses.
