The community of Homeville is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Homeville is an extraordinarily good part of Cape Breton Municipality for moving around by car. Parking is easy. This part of the municipality is not very bike-friendly as the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and the terrain is not particularly flat. Homeville is also not very conducive to those who travel by foot as almost no daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to purchase groceries. In terms of education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Homeville.

Character

Homeville offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This part of Cape Breton Municipality is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, although the community does not contain any parks, green spaces are few and far between in nearby communities, which results in them being very easy to get to from the majority of locations in Homeville.
