Part of the Cape Breton metropolitan area, Florence is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Driving is very often the preferred transportation option in this community. Parking is generally easy. A majority of the houses for sale in this community are located in places that are not very conducive to walking because meeting daily needs is inconvenient. Biking is also difficult in this part of the municipality since the area is not particularly flat, and Florence is home to a quite poor bicycling infrastructure.

Services

It is very rarely feasible for home buyers in this part of the municipality to reach the nearest supermarket on foot. Conversely, a coffee shop is often just around the corner, and there are a few options for those who value close by restaurants. When it comes to education, there are only a few primary schools in this community and consequently they can be an extended walk away. Moreover, Florence does not have any high schools.
