Part of the Cape Breton metropolitan area, Dominion is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Getting around by car is straightforward in Dominion. Accessing a place to park is generally easy. Dominion is not very amenable to biking as the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and there are a fair number of elevation changes. It is also inconvenient for people walking to move around in Dominion as very few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

In all cases, a vehicle is needed to buy groceries. Nonetheless, reaching the nearest pharmacy and thus some staple foods is usually very easy. A limited number of restaurants and cafes are available as well. Concerning education, this community does not contain any high schools or primary schools.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced environment will enjoy Dominion. There are a few parks nearby for residents to check out, including Dominion Beach Provincial Park, making it very easy to get to them. This community is very quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.
