Big Beach

The community of Big Beach can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured method to get around in Big Beach is very often driving. It is very convenient to find a parking spot. Commuting by bicycle is very difficult in this part of Cape Breton Municipality as there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave, and there are very few bike lanes. Travelling on foot is also not very practical for home buyers in Big Beach since running daily errands is nearly impossible by walking.

Services

In all cases, a car is required to shop for groceries. As far as education is concerned, there are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of the municipality.

Character

The character of Big Beach is exemplified by its calm ambience.
