Part of the Cape Breton metropolitan area, Coxheath is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia.

Coxheath is very car friendly. It is a very short drive to the nearest highway from any location in this community, and parking is generally easy. It is difficult for pedestrians to move around in this part of Cape Breton Municipality as very few common errands can be run without the use of a car. Biking is also at times challenging in this community as there is a significant amount of slopes, and the bicycling network is not very well-developed.

The closest supermarket in this part of the municipality is typically only an extended walk away. Furthermore, there are a fair number of options for those who value nearby restaurants and cafes.
