The community of Christmas Island is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Travelling by car is very easy in Christmas Island. It is very convenient to park. Travelling on foot is not very practical for house buyers in this area as almost no daily needs can be met by walking. Christmas Island is also not very bike-friendly because cyclists encounter a considerable amount of elevation changes, and the cycling network is quite poor.
