The neighbourhood of Waterford Valley can be found in the city of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, which is situated in the Greater St. John's metropolitan area.

Transportation

Travelling by car is very easy in this neighbourhood. It is a very short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in this part of St. John's, and it is very easy to park. On the other hand, the public transit network in Waterford Valley is not very accessible. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Bicycling is sometimes difficult in Waterford Valley as riding a bicycle is rendered arduous by the often steep topography, and the cycling network is fairly poor. There are also relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this part of the city, despite the fact that running daily errands is convenient on foot.

Services

The nearest grocery store in this neighbourhood is usually only a rather short walk away. A small number of restaurants and cafes are available as well. Regarding education, it is a reasonably short walk to reach schools and daycares from most homes for sale in this part of the city.
